The Hub of J&P is the our shanty, located, on Smith Island, where touists and locals gather to watch the beautiful island sunsets, play putt-putt pool, retro arcade games and mini claw machines. The shanty offers unique and fun entertainment for all ages. BYOB are welcome.
Jack and Pickles Yard
Enjoy feeding J&P's chickens and goat, while playing in our Mini Smith Island Playhouses! Rentals for wagons, bikes, kayaks and even an inflatable bounce house are available for your enjoyment.

Children's Birthday parties are ideal, as patrons can enjoy all of our amusements, at their leisure, while also enjoying the rest of what Smith Island has to offer. Acquire your wristbands for each guest and come and go as you please. Private parties and rental of our shanty are encouraged!

Get up close and personal with the wildlife of Jack and Pickles Amusements. Aside from our domestic farm animals, our patrons will enjoy seeing the beautiful Chesapeake water fowl. As you sit and sip on Jack and Pickles deck, enjoy watching the wild goats of Goat Island and perhaps a turtle swimming by. The sights and sounds of the Cheasapeake are easily enjoyed as our patrons breathe in the fresh air and watch the sun go down on the bay.

We offer Kayaks, Bikes, Children's wagons and bounce houses. Call ahead of time for bounce house rental availability and setup. We also do full shanty rentals for your private party or event.

Our shanty offers a wealth of classic arcade games on modern machines. Each of our machines has multiple games, all of which offers over 700 GenX classics. Play passes include playing all arcades and come and go as you please for only $3, all day pass. Our mini crane machines allow you to play until you win for only $1!
